Happy New Year, January 1, 2025

Hello friends, Happy 2026. A new year to make all the mistakes again. Yes, I'm pretty pessamistic about it. I've said for the past 20 years; 'this year is the year I lose the weight'. Has it happened yet? No! I hate to exercise and I love to eat. But honestly, I haven't been very committed. However, I took a vacation over Thanksgiving week, and on three of four planes I travelled on, I had to ask for a seatbelt extender. It was close, but no cigar. Talk about a wake up call. So, I need to start making it a habit to stop at the gym of my church and walk. It's not out of the way. I can just drive there after work and get some walking in. So, my New Year's commitment is to go to the church to walk 3 times a week. If the church is closed, the parks are open.
