Just plodding along through life

Hello friends,

Yes, it's been awhile since I posted. Honestly, my life is so boring and ordinary, I struggle to find interesting things to tell you. I will try and be better at it.

I am a gamer! I buy my games on the Steam platform. Lately, I have had open on my computer a little game called Ropuka's Idle Island. You pretty much do nothing but let the game run itself. The cute little frog sits in his chair and snoozes. Every little bit he jumps up and clips the grass about three times which gives you points to buy coins to buy things.

Tonight, I am volunteering at the snack bar at church. I get to watch pickleball. I will take my food with me; a bag of chips (full bags of Wal-mart brand chips are $1.50), some cliff bars from the food bank I went to yesterday, a turkey and cheese sandwich or maybe some tuna and crackers, and I can get fountain soda at the snack bar. I have my newest 'Stanley' cup with me which I did buy from a band member at work (High school) for $35. It's white with light blue and red design, with Longhorns (school mascots) and my name on it.

Yes, I did go to one of the drive through food banks yesterday. This is fall break for schools in my town. I got a gallon of milk, 5 pounds of chicken leg quarters, pears, grapes, cliff bars, two snack size bags of chips, oatmeal, dried chickpeas, crackers, oatmeal, apple juice, and a variety of canned goods.

This past Monday was ladies night out at a local church (not my home church, I'm friends with the pastor's wife). My secret sister gave me some candy and a small 'Stanley' type cup. I will regift it to one of my daughters for Christmas. I have 4 other 'Stanley' type cups; one is a actual Stanley that I won as a door prize a couple of years ago at the before school meeting that the district holds, I got one at Dollar Tree for $5, I got one from the lost and found at work (it sat in the lost and found for 6 weeks before I picked it up), and the one mentioned above that I bought. So, I don't need another one.
