Thursday, July 24th, Life update

Well, I have switched from ATT to T-Mobile. My T-Mobile bill will be half of what the ATT bill. I took advantage of their 55+ program. It was a bit of a hassle getting my phone switched over, but my daughter had to buy a whole new phone. Now I need to save up $200 to have around for when this phone bites the dust.

I was just going to stay with ATT for internet, but their 'if you don't switch, you won't have internet' equipment didn't work all that great. So, I called Bluepeak another option in my town, and they will be out on August 4th to get me hooked up. Then, I will call ATT to send their equipment back and cancel. It's just weird. We've had ATT for 30 years. It was really Hubby's preference. Well, he's gone now and I have to do what I can. The price of the new internet is about the same as the old. Around $70 a month.
