Recipe Monday: Bubble Up

I personally think that Bubble Up is pretty darned awesome. I like recipes that are versatile. The first Bubble Up recipe I found was for pizza. Just biscuits, sauce, and cheese. So, I came up with a basic recipe for Bubble Up.

First, you need biscuits. You can buy canned, frozen, or make them yourself. Just cut them up into smaller pieces and put in a bowl. If you're making your own, you don't even have to make them round. Just roll out your dough and cut it up.

Next, you need sauce. That is, something 'wet'. I looked at Pinterest and came up with a list of things. Spaghetti or pizza sauce, gravy, chicken soup, dips, enchilada sauce, chili, salsa, sour cream with dry ranch soup, the possibilities are endless.

Then, you need the meat; chicken, sausage, hamburger, hot dogs, etc.

Cheese! And plenty of it.

The extras. Can't forget the extras. All the things that make eating fun.

Seasonings if needed.

Now, here are a few Bubble Up recipes gleaned from Pinterest.

Chicken pot pie: gravy, chicken, peas and carrots, thyme and pepper, cheddar

French onion chicken: chicken soup and French onion dip, chicken, French fried onions, cheddar

lasagna: spaghetti sauce, sausage or hamburger, anything you add to your lasagna, mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta

enchilada: enchilada sauce, hamburger, green chilies, taco seasonings, Monterey jack, cheddar

chili dog: chili, hot dogs, cheddar

taco: salsa, hamburger, corn, cheddar, (lettuce, tomatoes to put on when it's out of the oven)

cracked out chicken: sour cream and dry ranch dressing, chicken, bacon, cheddar Bake in the oven at 350 until the biscuits are done. Enjoy.
